Secure Fence and Rail Truck

Pink Truck for Breast Cancer Awareness

Perhaps you’ve seen a pink truck roaming around Brevard since the beginning of October. No, we haven’t changed our colors – we’re just excited to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We like to take this month to celebrate those who have dealt with this horrible disease and let those who are currently fighting know that we are supporting them.

We’re proud to be one of the many businesses and organizations that help raise awareness about the pervasiveness of this cancer this month. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women after skin cancer. It is estimated by the National Cancer Institute that 230,000 of breast cancer are diagnosed in women every year. There are 2,300 new cases diagnosed in men each year as well.

Early detection of breast cancer increases survival rates. By raising awareness of the cancer that affects so many families, we hope that we can inspire both women and men to check themselves frequently for any abnormalities.

Breast cancer affects hundreds of thousands of women and men in America. Supporting this cause is very near and dear to our hearts as a few Secure Fence and Rail family members are currently battling breast cancer. If you see our pink truck give us a honk in support.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of our close family dealing with this disease, to all the families currently fighting, and to those who have lost their lives. We will continue to support each and every one of you!
