Part of our mission at Secure Fence and Rail is to be good neighbors by giving back to our community. Earlier this year we donated to the Rockledge Rotary Club’s annual Derby Day Fundraiser. We recently received a “Thank You” letter from them, and it reminded us how important our community is.
Contributions from this year’s Derby Day Fundraiser were awarded to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida and Crosswinds Youth Services. Ronald McDonald House Charities provide comfort and a home away from home for ill children receiving treatments at children’s hospitals in Orlando. Sixty percent of the families at these homes are from Central Florida. Any chance we have to lend a hand to children and their families in times of stress and uncertainty, we are happy to.
The other charity the Derby Day fundraiser benefited was Crosswinds Youth Services. Crosswinds provides an emergency place to stay for runaway and homeless teens. They also provide additional services to help them strengthen their skills to succeed in life.
We are so happy to have been able to help an important cause that means so much to us as an organization. At Secure Fence and Rail we do more than just install high-quality fences, we help build communities by helping those in need. Additionally, we just want to thank Brevard County and all the organizations we are able to support for doing the work they do to keep our communities strong.
