Secure Fence and Rail to Host Poker Run for Charity

Secure Fence and Rail will be hosting a Motorcycle Poker Run on March 26 at 9 am. The run will benefit a new school building for the Creative Learning, a non-profit special needs school in Cocoa, Florida. Cars and trucks will also be welcome.

A poker run is an event where participants use different forms of transportation to arrive at five to seven points. At each point the riders collect a playing card. When they arrive at the end of the event, the participants compare the hands they’ve acquired with the object being to collect the best poker hand.

This motorcycle run will involve five stops in Titusville. The stops on the run include Old Dixie Pub, Hitching Post, Hard Racks, Lone Cabbage, and Pintos Lounge. All bikes should be in at 3 pm. At the end of the run, prizes will be given out for the best and worst hands.

The beneficiary of the event, Creative Learning, has been in Brevard County for 14 years helping the county’s special needs kids. Recently they have been blessed with a new, larger facility with a yard. With this new location, the school will be able to enroll new students and offer in-house specialized therapy.

However, before the school can move into its new facility, many renovation projects must be completed. The goal of the Poker Run is to raise $30,000 to help the school complete these projects and move into their new facility. Any leftover funds will be used for scholarships for children in need.

Registration for the event will be from 9 am to 10:30 am at Secure Fence and Rail’s Titusville location at 7635 S. Hwy 1, Titusville, FL, 32780. Participation fees are $10 per person or $15 per couple. Donations will also be accepted.

So come join us for this fun event and help raise money for a very worthy cause. For more information on this event, contact Taylor Bardo at 321-338-7868 or [email protected]
